KPI-OPEN contest is one of the most expected programming contests in the world

The main purpose of the Olympiad is to draw public attention to intellectual competitions among students, promote intellectual development and teamwork, improve the professional level of young professionals, develop inter-university ties, and establish personal contacts between students from different cities and countries. At the same time, IT companies that join the Olympics have a great chance to find new employees among the best of the best.

 

Also, the practice of holding presentations, seminars and lectures in the framework of the competition was held, where IT specialists share their practical experience and knowledge, and also introduce young programmers to the actual tasks facing the industry at this stage. Since 2021, the Olympiad is held online remotely.

In ten years of its history, since 2006, the Olympiad KPI-OPEN became a key event not only for young programmers from Ukraine, the CIS countries and all Eastern Europe, but also for dozens of the IT companies working in Ukraine.
During the history of KPI-OPEN (since year 2006) over 4000 participants, 1050 teams from 80 cities and from 175 higher educational institutions of 18 countries took part at the contest.
Interest in KPI-OPEN is confirmed by the constant increase in the number of participants, the expansion of the geography of the tournament and information support.
For the years of carrying out our contest, the project of KPI-OPEN was supported by the companies:
